If you think about everyday life in the Haus der Musik and what happens there, you quickly come across two important activities: on the one hand, the stage performance, and on the other, the break. The performance requires a stage that is as flexible as possible and can be used quickly for a small concert or a short speech. The break, on the other hand, needs a good place to sit so that you can spend the time waiting comfortably, e.g. reading in a café or on your cell phone. So I came to the conclusion that a piece of furniture for waiting and a piece of furniture for the musical performance or for a performative act or speech could be useful. A sofa for sitting & waiting and a stage for making music or to perform.

The stage sofa was also shown as part of Carola Dertnig's retrospective Dancing through Life i2024 at the Offenes Kulturhaus in Linz, as well as at the MAK during Artweek 2018 with the performance Money Money.
